They love food and biting mail carriers!
I don’t know about your dogs but my dogs just abhor anything related to the mail carrier-the mail, the person, and the motorcycle. As soon as the mailman turns at the corner of our street, he immediately waits for him beneath the mailbox, waiting to pounce. Although my dog can’t exactly reach the mailman, just the thought of a 50lbs. pit bull jumping from the other side of the gate makes his knees weak. So what the mailman usually does is give our mail to the neighbor then we collect it from there.
Maybe when we’re not around and my dog was still a puppy, the mailman teased him mercilessly.
Maybe it’s part of the dog’s genes.
All I know is that Cesar Millan won’t be happy when he hears about my dog’s behaviour…
